App Description
Recorder is a voice recording and transcription tool that captures sound in many kinds of settings and turns speech into editable text on your device.
Six recording modes
Default, Meeting, Denoise, Privacy, Evidence and Custom modes cover quick notes, conference rooms and quiet interviews. Add a mark at any point while recording so you can jump straight back to the part that matters.
Live transcription
Words appear on screen as you speak, so a long meeting or lecture becomes a readable note without listening through it again. Choose the transcription language before you start to match the speaker.
Audio and video to text
Import an audio file or pick a video from your library, and the speech inside becomes text you can read, copy and share. When you only need the sound, the audio track can be pulled out of a video on its own.
Audio editing tools
Reduce steady background noise, convert between M4A, WAV, CAF and AIFF, trim a section, join several clips end to end, or adjust volume with peak limiting. Every result is saved as a new file, so the original stays untouched.
One file library
Recordings, imported audio and transcripts sit together with search, rename, duplicate, share and delete. Filter by audio or text and the file you want shows up in seconds.
From the first tap to the finished transcript, recorder keeps recording, transcription and editing in one app. Download it and start your first recording.

Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period, and the renewal cost will be provided. Subscriptions can be managed by the user. Going to the user's account settings after purchase may turn off auto-renewal.
Cancellation of the current subscription is not allowed during an active subscription period.
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication.
